Thanks all. Bought my first H.I. blade today, a 15" Sirupati. I've basically forgotten about all other knives since I "discovered" khukris and this forum.

I noticed that some deals say "delivered" and some say YBB. I guess I'm correct in assuming that the YBB price also includes delivery, no?

Can't wait to try it out, thanks again.
 
Hey, another 15" sirupati guy! Your gonna love it, I think. Around here they call it a "little" khukri. That's how nutty some of these cantinistas are:p Now the 12" sirupati, that's another story:D Dainty, to say the least. Or is it petite?
 
Not only am I another Sirupati guy, I'm also in Chi!

Welcome Soupah! And you are right. No matter what the notation, the price always includes delivery. The only other variable is sometimes the daily deals of the day (DOTD) or best buys will be marked as "blems", which means that Yangdu has noted some small defect in them and has priced them accordingly. Some of my best snags have been blems, and I am susually hard pressed to find the reported problem.

Forgetting about all your other knives is a classic symptom of HIKV, so be careful. ;)

Your first one huh? Man are you screwed. Is your wife dear to your heart, or could you move her out into the cold so you can fit more Khuks into your house?:D I have been giving my other knives away as gifts since I found HI. Did you see that Cherokee Rose today? 20.5" :eek:

Luckly (or unluckily), I'm only engaged, not yet married, so now's the time to sneak in those last-minute purchases before I have to start actually explaining where I spend my disposable income. Hence the khukris and a few Opinel & Buck folders.

I suppose after the marriage I'll have to come clean about my new little obsession. I can hear it now..."honey, why do you have to have 5 of those huge knives? Isn't one enough? What's the point?"

And then I'll try explaining that a $55 sirupati is a deal too good to pass up...
