Okay, you're holding a knife in the accepted film noir stabbing position: Point forward, spine up, and at waist level. Most sheath knives have the tang stamp on the right side, and pocketknives are stamped on the left side.
I know that Buck knife tang stamps have wandered all over the place at various times. But, I wonder if there's a reason for this convention?
