I thought I would showcase this fine little knife with it's bling. It's only 3 5/16" long but it's all quality. Really nice fit and finish. Bone handles, raised sterling shield, sterling bolsters and milled liners. This one serialized #1398 of 5000 made.

Lots of earlier threads on this knife too that are worth checking out but pics were kinda scarce so I thought I'd try and give it the attention it deserves. Enjoy!

Here's a link to the flyer from 1985 though the Anniversary is 1959 - 1984:

Over the years I have owned eight of these 34SS knives.
They sold for about $85 when they where new, I have sold them in the passed year for $250 to $300, here in Australia.
Today I have only two in my collection, in the wooden box, with all the paperwork, and the white sleeve. I have found the wooden box dose not like the sun, that makes them fade.

I have one other 34SS, that I only paid $20 for. This knife was never finished, it has no shield, or serial number. The blade has no etching, the back scale/handle has been reverted, but not machined or finished. The back spring has not been worked. This is one of my "best finds knife".

Dave,
Great pics of a great knife! Thanks for posting them!

Koldgold,
Is your unfinished one like these? I bought two thinking maybe I could try to finish one myself, but then realized I didn't have the shield to complete it. So I've done nothing.
