Silver Contrast...Getting close!

I've had my Small Pain Sebenza for two or three months. I now feel that I can endure the "separation anxiety" which I will feel for the 2-4 weeks it will take the Chris Reeve factory to do the "Solar Wind" Silver Contrast. It will be tough, but I think I can do it now. So, now's the time. If anyone has anything negative to say regarding the silver contrast, let me hear it now or "forever hold your peace". :)

DON'T DO IT!!!!

You'll never make it the 2 - 4 weeks without your Sebenza. Your only option is to purchase another Sebenza THEN send off your FIRST ;).

Good Luck....It will be a VERY LONG WAIT......

I have been thinking of getting my large done. The silver machining should still look great against the darker blasted scales and you don't have to worry about the anodizing being marred. Please post some pics when it comes back.

I think that the silver contrast will be cool. But I know from personal experience that you should have a backup Sebenza to hold you over while your's is being worked on. I did the same thing, sent my (at that time) only Sebenza in for a sharpening and a polished blade. It only took a couple weeks but let me tell you that I was a very unhappy camper and I suffered from separation anxiety until I got my Sebbie back. But do what you must, I suppose that you will have to learn the hard way like I did. I just don't want you to have to go through what I went through. I just don't want to hear about you pissing and moaning about how much you miss your Seb! :(
