Silver Falcon AmbassadoR - Help

I just purchased a fixed blade knife and I wondered if anyone new anything about the maker and the value. It is a Silver Falcon AmbassadoR, made by BST Basic Tools, 440 stainless steel, japanese patent number 591427. Below is a picture, I dont normally buy alot of japanese knives (except seki) but this looked like a really good buy at $24.49 , old but new with box and sheath.
Anyone out there know anything about this make or value ??
