I just found out that silver nickel Buck 110's will be available again soon. After many emails back and forth I was finally was informed that Buck is no longer doing "special order" silver nickel knives BUT switching over to only using these knives for "in house" knives.

So, here is the latest email I received: (edited a bit to remove the name and company as I did not get permission to post it.)

The silver Buck 110 xxxxxxxxx diamondwoods are no longer available to us. We will be receiving a silver cherry diamondwood 110 sometime around mid-April. It is a new item from Buck.

I think Badhammer has hit the nail on the head:p But I bet it isnt signed. I kinda like the Chairman series and will get a 110, but without Chucks sig, I havent been all that thrilled with the Cherry, too red. I'm glad youre getting some new canvas Michael.:thumbup:
 
So then, that begs the question, was there ever a red handled run of 110's that werent signed?
