silver plated sheffield bowies

I am looking at a knife on ebay...they say the furniture, is silver plated brass. it is a W&S Butcher made knife for Gravely and Weaks. does this sound right

Sounds fishy, but we'll need a link to the pictures or atleast the Ebay number to judge.
