Just ordered the last available Silver Shadow Karambit, the CQC-7, and am waiting on its arrival. There were 3 available, anyone had a chance to see one yet? I'm new to computers, so I don't know how to post a picture. Go to www.emersonknives.com Latest Intel

Oh you SUCK! :D In the best way possible!!!!

Sweet score man! Those things kick butt! That has the new "Emerson Custom Knives USA" logo, and THICK liner on the lock side!

Sweeeeeeeet!!!!!!

Congrats! I saw all three of them available for sale on the site.

Let us know if yours has the thicker liner on the lock side or if these still have both liners of the same thickness.

Sniper 308. the liners appear to be the same, unless theres a silly millimeter difference. The knife is even nicer than I expected! Take care

Pics! Where are the pics!!!! :D

If you need help, just send them to me and I'll do the rest!

ajnova, wish I could, no digital camera, still trying to figure out my 35mm! The only pic I have it what you posted,(No help. Huh) Maybe who ever bought the other 2 will see this. Its one nice piece, edge like a razor, good grinds, great fit and finish, and the G-10 looks like polished carbon fiber. Over all I'm very, very pleased. Take care P.S. if you find out anything more let me know!

I called EKI on an unrelated issue and before I hung up, I asked them about the production CQC7 karambits. The lady on the phone said she didn't know anything and ran off to get someone who did... 30 seconds go by and the main man himself E.E. picks up the phone and tells me the blanks for the blades, liners and handles have been cut and are on the line for grinding behind the CQC7's and the mini CQC7's. He said he hopes to have them shipping in 7-10 weeks. He also said the karambit commanders will be soon to follow. He wanted to be able to take orders for them by the NY knife show in manhattan. He said the blade design is slightly different then the prototypes that have been for sale in the past year.

I like a man who answers questions himself instead of having someone else try to flub out an answer. Say what you will about his backlog of orders, but one thing is certain, if it wasn't worth the wait there wouldn't be so many backorders...

I wonder if I could order a set of those silver handles for mine...?

where did you order it from? direct from EKI?
and if you could make us all salivate a little more, what did it cost?

They were available through EKI only. For Emerson Collector Association members only.

They were like $425 or $475 I think.

They are now sold out! :(

They were $450. I was surprised to find when I received it that it came with a certificate. One of diploma size saying that it was hand ground by Emerson, has the date and my name on it. Don't know if all Emersons have this or is it something he just started.
