View attachment 451775View attachment 451776View attachment 451779Before I moved to AZ, I had accumulated almost 600 oz. of silver, but I sold most of it to help pay for the move. I kept some of the different 1 oz. coins. Just out of curiosity,
I decided to inventory what I had left. There is one that I always thought was a bit odd. It says that it contains 1 oz. of pure silver, but on my scale it weighs a bit over 33 grams.
(A troy ounce = 31.1 grams.) I took a closer look and saw that it actually contains 33.625 grams of .925 silver. Since it is supposed to be bullion silver, I thought that was kind
of strange. Anyway, this is show and tell.
The coin on the left in the family picture is an 1899 Peso. The coin on the right is 1 oz. pure silver.
