Anyone have any experience with Silver Stag Knives? They look great, but I have never heard anything about how they perform.

Silver Stag Knives

They are D2 steel for the most part, and are very good. They make a great skinner, and what is also cool is that you can send them your own stag and they will craft a knife for you.
I have one that was a gift, and it is really a beautiful knife.
I also have a very good friend who came to me one year and asked what I recommended as a knife to give as a gift to his two sons.
Knowing that he and his sons are avid whitetail hunters, and they would be using the knives for skinning game, I recommended Silver Stag. My friend sent some stag to SS and now the boys have knives that have real meaning, being crafted with stag from their own hunts.
I don't see a lot of posts on BF about them, but they do make nice knives for skinning game in particular.
