silver stag short bowie worth the price?

think i need a knife to hang on the gunbelt opposite my six-shooter. can get a silver stag 8" bowie for around $90. pictures of the knife show one brass pin attaching blade and handle. are these knives reasonably sturdy?

They are nice knives. They are not full length tangs, but the epoxy that they use to secure the handles is extremely strong. If it's pinned too, that's even better. I used to have the Pacific Bowie (I think that was the one) and I would have had no issue with using it to do outdoor activities. It was as solid feeling a knife as any other I've had. Stag handles just aren't my thing, so I sold it. There's a video on youtube showing the factory and assembly process.
