silver wire inlay

Just finished this one.

Steel is 1095 from Aldo. Scales are curly maple, inlayed with sterling silver wire. Comments welcome.

Hengelo - Blade mag. Jan. 2009 had a tutorial, plus there are many tutotials on this and other forums, and I believe there is even a video tutorial you can purchase. I really can't add to what has already been said, many times. A search for "wire inlay" should produce all the answers for you - it did for me.
