Silversteel compared to White/Blue Paper steel

Would like to hear some opinions about the 2, hardness, edge retention , blade sharpness from the experts.

Silver steel is equivalent to Hitachi blue. White steel is as pure as possible - carbon and iron. Any one of these will make an exceptional knife if properly worked and HTed. If a hamon is desired, white is the way to go. For a slightly tougher and harder edge, blue/silver will be the choice. Compared to a Ginsu knife all these are from Krypton.
