Awwwww Yeah my 15 WIP, in the hands of the skilled and generous Konabadger. They are scaled but still needing some finish. Patina is antiqued, and sheath is being made along with firesteel and beads. It will have a mountain man sheath designed to be worn inside the belt, outside the pants. More pics to come as it gets finished up. Anticipated completion this week.

Whatchu guys and gals think ?

Wow. That looks great! May have to pick up a 15. Damn
What kind of scales are they? Spalted Maple?

I like how the scales extend all the way to the pommel. That's a nice touch. Beautiful work.

Stunning. I was thinking about stripping my 15, and I am definitely convinced now.

you should. They are beautiful under that hideous black coat.

I already oohed and aahed over it, but I'll do it again...that is great stuff Silver! I wish I could make permanent handles on my Beckers, maybe some day when I can afford another set of knives just for making sheaths. Or if I could get just the end of the handle exactly like the grivory's contours.

wow! the finish, the scales...just fantastic! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Is there a process for getting the finish to look like that?

Wow. Looks like a big $$$ custom. Should be amazing when finished.
I love how you extended the handle at both ends, and weren't afraid to reshape the swell.
Antiqued patina looks very classy.
If I didn't know it was a Becker underneath, I'd be afraid to use it.

WOW.......That is downright gorgeous......WOW......Really nice, really nice......
