I have to say that I am just madly in love with my Spyderco Ambitious!
Not my biggest knife. Not my smallest knife. Not my best looking knife. Not my highest quality knife. The list could go on and on.
BUT, there is just something about it. Somewhat small, but somehow perfectly sized. Deploys almost as though it was custom designed to fit my hand and finger size. Folds the same. Very nice weight for a smaller knife, and though he's a somewhat chubby fellow, perfectly balanced and fits nicely in the small pocket of my jeans.
I have a stainless Chive and a Baby Boa, yet neither of those superior quality knives can knock this little guy out of my small pocket! It's one of those rare knives that you simply have to have on you at all times, even just kicking it around the abode.
So, my question to the royal youse is: are there any other knives out there that you would compare favorably with the Ambitious as far as size, fit, and feel are concerned?
I suppose a decent secondary question would be: Have you ever had a knife that just completely surprised you as to how much you'd ultimately end up liking it?
