That blade is prety cool. What is the finish? Is it The same as the tiger stripes on striders or is it a coating?

And what is that sheath? You have a knife there that clearly must be $300 to $500 and they use a sub standard piece of gear to put it in. You wouldnt put regular gas in a Nascar. Who ever is responsable for that we will be glad to come up with a better option for you.

thank you

Glad you guys like the knife. The finish is the Strider inspired Tiger Stripe heat oxide finish. (thanks again Mick and Duane!)

And if you remember a while back there SOE I did indeed contact you about making sheaths, and you told me you only made them for Strider, (which I totally understand) so I settled on the next best thing, Blackhawks sheath. Certainly not near as fine as the SOE sheath that came with my Strider knife though. All you got to do is say the word and you will get my work man! :)

Please dont turn this into a Blackhawk bashing session, they have treated me very very well in all my dealings with them. (Rant off!) :)

Ryan, the rain gear is totally good stuff! Used it in the Snow and Rain today! Thanks!

Reed, what do you mean too bad this one is pending? I do plan on making more!:D

Rob,

That is a nice knife - must speak to TAD on Monday.

Regards,

Ed

Rob,
Sometimes I get hungry for a new knife, but I want one right now. I will keep that in mind.
Take it easy,
Reed

Reed,

You could always try and ring Josh and Patrick before me on Monday. :D

Jphn,

If I am lucky enough to be the first person to speak to TAD about this knife, what would you charge me for a sheath?

Regards,

Ed
