Simmons Multi-tool ... I think

Looks nice! Simmons Hardware Co? ...Simmons was a hardware brand. According to Levine's Guide, they imported knives from Germany c1890-1940. As for value, Levine's Guide lists Simmons hardware as medium and Simmons Keen Kutter and Hornet trademarks as high. Levine has a forum on Bladeforums: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=691

Thanks for input; yep, just Hardware, I think.
If I post again on Levine's forum, might he reply w/ some detail?

PS: lots of surface blemishes on tools ... not rush, but more as if the chrome-like bright surface coating failed and surface is pitted. Back handle has a surface crack across. Dividers seem to be brass, w/ ridges on their edges. Have bathed in mineral oil to loosen workings, but still oh so tight.

The surface blemishes don't look bad from what I can see in the photo - I wouldn't use anything other than mineral oil ...Actually, it doesn't look like it was used much... do the blades have the original edge?

Cutting edges seem dull, but not noticeably sharpened & un-nicked. The tang stamped names are half-way worn off, suggesting lots of opening & closing ... though stamped letters seem fine / delicate, and not at all 'heavy-duty'.
