Sitting innocently at the bar sipping a cold one next to Rob and his lovely wife, I think I witnessed something "hush-hush" like. Rob was discussing a knife with the balisong guys and my ears perked up. Is there a Simonich balisong in the works? What was that drawing on that napkin? I know I heard two distinct words, "talonite" and "titanium." The balisong guys were smiling for some reason.

I don't know what's up with Rob, but I am hearing about a new deal. A new Cell Phone Automatic. All Rob will say is, "disclosure statement." I do know, but I saw a whole bunch of japanese flocking around his table. Christine was sitting back reading a Bentley brouchure. Rumor has it, that the CIA has already ordered 50.

my Kanji drew blood; the hotel maid actually left in in my made-up bed; ouch! I'm certain that my T.Carnivore in Snakewood will never be so far away. Butterfly dreams:T+T YaaAAAA
Come on Rob, make the two T's sing. Jason

A guy with a two year back log taking on more business. Terrific. Just what we need.

Rob; you have five months to complete my daughter's chef's knife. If you do not do so, prepare for a visit by a very irate amazon.

Tom; thanks for the kind offer, but since Rob has been procrastinating on this project for about a year, I think I will turn loose my eldest daughter on him if he doesn't complete it.

I am not sure you are aware of the details of this project. Back in early 1999, Rob made up a chef's knife prototype in Talonite (r), and sent it to Nick Blinoff, and then Michael Gettier, both professional chefs. They suggested some minor modifications, but were ecstatic about the knife. I ordered several from Rob, but haven't seen one yet. My daughter happened to see the prototype, and immediately expressed a keen interest

.

So, I am going to make him deliver. Kit Carson is making up some Talonite (r) paring knives to match the chef's knife.

As to who was holding him up at the bar, it was undoubtedly Christine, his charming and beautiful wife. She has performed this function in the past, IIRC.

But thanks for the offer, Tom. Now, get busy, Rob, you lazy redskin!! (we can joke like that; I am part Amerind myself).

I believe that was me holding him AND Christine up. And I know all the secrets!

Blues,
Who was holding you up??;)
I had my share at Ruby Tuesdays the night before!
Neil

Blues,
I met Ferrid Mehr at Ruby Tuesdays! He was a blast to hang out with. Ferrid makes, BY FAR, the heaviest duty folders I have EVER seen! I though my Buck/Strider was overkill. It seems like a Case Peanut next to one of his!!

Saw him at the show, Neil, but didn't stop at his table.

I've always heard that about his knives.

I met Ferrid Mehr and Neil Blackwood!

I came home with a Blackwood Talonite blade in my bag. Very nice knife.

Rob was holding up fine. He did ask Chistine if they could get that Bentley in a duelly 4 x 4 with a winch. The famous Simonich hat was in place. I think I did overhear that Rob did remove it when he was knighted. Sir Rob of Clancy?

Simonich? Did I meet a Simonich? I know nothing, nothing at all about any talonite balisong projects

Hey Blues.........

France called today. They wanted to thank you for taking such good care of their boy. LOL

.......... Oh, and by the way, they want the Statue of Liberty back.

LOL!!!

Yeah, Fred felt pretty bad about all the "hoopla". Too bad he didn't have anything with him worth my stealing. Besides, he had "Pepe" the sniper at his side to protect him from my onslaught.

Had a good time with you guys, but, Chuck, next time let me move back before you start that helicopter routine at the bar!!!

Almost had to change my handle to "Lefty".
