Saddly Rob died in a car accident 11-28-03, he will be dearly missed, his wife and some friends are keeping his legacy going. the thread link below explains it best.

And, of course, the original Simonich knives still show up at auction and with the dealers from time-to-time. Not surprisingly, they're highly sought-after.
