Hi Guys...

Interested ?

I hear from Ron Hood that there are only a few left..

They are a Simonich/Hoods Limited edition with the Hoods Woods logo...Numbered and only 50 made..

If you want a Simonich blade in Talonite,, heres your chance...

Last I heard they were $350.00 but don't quote me on that...

Check out the Wilderness Survival forum for more info,,or contact Ron Hood

Hello,

Yep after handling a few of the A2 versions i feel they will make a greatAll purpose utility blade for the Wilderness, both in the woodline and on the street. And besides Both RON HOOD and Rob Simonich are great guys ,so how can ya go wrong.

Take care,

Allen Blade

Hey Allen....

If I were to buy one knife today,, it would be the Simonich Trail knife, with the parasite blade,, I think he calls it the SRT...

What are the specifications on the knife, blade length, etc. Does anyone have a high resolution scan they can link me to or email me? Yes, I know of the one picture on Rob's web site, but I would like MORE!

I want to sharpen up my current desktop (picture/background).

I have seen a lot on the wonders of this knive, but I never get all the details. That is why it took me so long to become number 32!

I want mine "spooky sharp" too!

I can only figure that they come so sharp, part of the knife exists in another dimension. That is why despite the amount of material I have read still leaves out a few details.

Rob, I saw you speculate re a Talonite Parasite blade in this knife or Wambli??? Can I get that either in the knife or on the sheath......with a metal match.....awesome.

I think you should try it, at least on one Kanji, mine, for the sake of science!

Donald.

Apparently the orders are cutting edge too, it turns out I am 34. (Darn, the number on the knife,

Hey Don, sorry for missing these questions! And thanks for the e-mail giving me the heads up.

The picture on my site is of the first prototype that Ron took to the jungle, there have been a few minor changes as follows.

Overall lenght is 9", there is 4" of cutting edge with a 3/4" or so choil area for choke up. The overall profile is about a pencil width thinner than the prototype due to morphing during CAD work for laser cutting the blades. They are flat ground about 2/3 of the width of the blade to give them a "strong back"

Unfortunately, I cant do the parasite on these knives due to the cutout in the handle for weight reduction and balancing.

It would not be fair for me to offer any more options on the Kanji than I already do for the rest of the guys. Hoods Woods ordered up 100 of these knives quite some time ago, (I had to put them on the list as well!"

And you know the Hoodlums, wouldnt want them after my scalp!

#34 sounds good to me, I will try not to cut myself on it!
