Simonich Question

Hi all ,

Recently bought a Simonich Combat Raven of the internet.
During the buy there was some difficulty sorting out it was a custom or a mid tech.
Any way , i've bought the knife , and have it here with me.
But I still don't know if its a custom or a mid tech.
So can any of you please explain the difference between those two ?
Mine is stamped with the buffalo , the letters simonich on top , and bos and cpm s30v.
Now the only midtech's ive seen so far , also have mid tech stamped on the blade.

No doubt about it at all. Rob was very adamate about marking his mid-techs as such.
 
Custom. Great for you!!
He made superb knives.
He was a great loss.
 
Ask Jerry Hossom. Sounds like a custom. Here's my Simonich knives.

When Rob first started making the midtech's I think the only marking difference was the customs had Clancy, MT. under his name and the midtech's did not. So if it has Clancy on it it's a custom.
