Simonich-Raven Combat. any words of wisdom?

hey All,

Lately I've been Interested in the Simonich Raven Combat 7",epecially that there was an article in Blade mag where Simonich did the tests
himself and it seems like it's a powerful piece equipped with none other than V30... steel. Since I don't think I've seen an extensive talking about this knife I'd like to get second opinion on Raven Combat from anyone who has put the blade to tough workout and wouldn't mind sharing customer satisfaction. How does it measure up to others in the same category?

I have a couple on order, and ordered them not because of the magazine article but because of how great my Urban Raven is. Awesome knife. Have proven extremely durable, sharp as a razor with good edge holding, and just a great every-day carry piece.

Also, while ordering pick up a couple of Rob's Crowfoot neck knives...excellent stuff.

Simonich + NY Custom Knife Show + cash = Raven in my hands on Nov 1st...:D
 
I picked up one at Blade. Very well designed, fit and finish are top-notch, GOOD STUFF!

Rob makes great knives. Don't have a Raven, but I do have some of his other custom work. Top notch work from a top notch guy! Ya can't go wrong with Rob and his knives.

I'm waiting for an Urban Raven myself...;)
I think the Raven is going to be the PREMIER combat blade in no time..:cool:
