Simple Backpack?

Hey, i've been wanting a Saddleback backpack for a long time now but was afraid to pull the trigger on one after I bought the messenger bag and didn't use it. Now I see that they have a new backpack called the simple backpack and this looks much more functional and light weight than the other offerings. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

I'm waiting for the 17" version. The 14" version is too small for what I want.
