Simple Green to clean your coated blades

I have a Steel Heart (Busse) that I have been beating the heck out of to try the new profile I gave to the blade. Well, while out 4-wheeling with my boy I chopped alot of pine branches, among many others. The blade was absolutely covered with sap and dirt, ect. I was just buffing off the edge and using it again but it was getting very bad so I squirted some "Simple Green" ( a biodegradable cleaner) on it and let it soak for about 1-2 minutes and most of it wiped right off. Then I did it again and the remainder come off. Clean as new with no harm to the finish. Of course it is getting very scared but hasn't broke through to bare metal yet.

Just wanted to give everyone a new idea on how to easily clean their dirty blades.

BTW, I went out today and spent about 10-15 minutes beating the heck out of dead and dried apple tree branches and the actual tree itself. After cleaning the blade there was no sign of damage at all. Sliding the edge across my finger nail was still just like the day I sharpened (re-profiled) it. Unreal. This is after laying the edge back quite a bit like the picture I posted (a while back) showed. Here it is in the "Beater" section I think it was.
