Beautiful... Cant wait to see the mask for that one.

The dishes are done!
I just did a basic mask for storage.

Very simple, one piece of leather formed around it with a welt in the middle and a button-stud closure.

I punched wide holes and stuffed this super thick black waxed thread through it. So although done in black, the stitching would be bold.

And I used hardware with a matte gun metal black finish rather than the bright black anodized.

Thanks! I am rather pleased with the strap function. The leather is just the right thickness and pliability to easily bend through the loop and over the button stud. And it opens up wide to present the axe uninhibited by a large flap.

3-4oz., it’s closer to 3oz. by my approximation. (Same stuff as the formed part of @Agent_H’s sheath.)

I think not, basic is the just functional enough stuff I make.
This maybe simple in design but certainly not basic in craftsmanship.
