I have a Colt Search and Rescue Tool Gravity Knife and I need some input. I really like this knife for firefighting and rescue needs, but I have been holding out on clipping (carabiner) it to my bunker coat because of stupid reasons. I am afraid that if I screw it up beyond use I will never be able to buy another again. My point is, this really is not a collectors item, right? Do you feel that these gravity knives will be readily available pretty much for a long time. I just need a kick in the pants to use it, but for some stupid reason I have been saving it because when I bought it I thought it was a collectors item (sort of). What do you guys think?

If this is the CT-37 CSAR that you are talking about, it doesn't seem to be that hard to find. Go ahead and use it.
