I can't imagine getting by without an AIR COMPRESSOR. Do you have one?
Of course the most obvious is blowing out lint on a dry knife, do this the most.
This week I was working my garden, opening bags of compost, dropped my 21 into the sandy soil, gritty opening. A few blasts from my 30 year old compressor, smooth as silk.
I use my air compressor after washing the Micarta Insingo, I have a thing about getting water into the sticky tape area.:D The compressed air is the quickest way to dry a knife, it gets ever where.
Just a cheep, simple small one will do, since you won't use it much.

Short of taking it apart and giving it a thorough cleaning, a blast of air is great in the interim.

Yep, they come in handy. I use mine for cleaning out knives, firearm trigger assemblies, inflating bike and car tires, blowing out my desktop computer case, etc. I think it was ~$100 from Harbor Freight.

An air compressor is a great tool to have. I use mine for cleaning out electronics, airbrushing (primarily), automotive cleaning/maintenance, the list goes on. I use a TC-20T from tcpglobal. Great compressor for the money.

I have an air compressor and like it a great deal. I mostly use it for pneumatic nailers (its intended propose). I do however have a kit with all sorts of attachments that make it very handy around the shop.
