Thanks to Granites for his explanation on this :) I just etched this blade and thought I would share my steps, I've done it this way to more than a few now after haveing 3 fails in my first try's of my 15,4 and 20 :( after reading his thread I realized I had the POSITIVE ON Q-TIP that is a huge mistake and why those 3 blades of mine don't have deep Logos :D I'am showing that all that is needed is a good 9volt, some wire and clips I use just salt water and not safe but I just hold the Positive To The Edge of the blade the Negative clipped to the Positive on the 9volt and to the wet Q-Tip. Took about 10 minutes. One more important thing make sure there is no oil or other crap on thr logo. Sorry no Beckers neeed to be etched

Looks like a nice, deep etch for only taking 10 minutes.
It really is amazing but that is all it takes ;) The only thing that could make it take longer that I can think of would be a weak battery or not a enough salt in the water:) Oh yea, make SURE THE POSITIVE lead from the BATTERY GO'S TO GROUND! And no OIL ON THE LOGO  works fast!

Thank you knoefz for the very generous compliments
It's very inspiring to see your pics buddy.
I've etched some knife with acid in the past, but this seems less messy.
And quicker!
I'm gonna try this on my bk7 soon.
