WOW, pretty fancy. Is this knife an auto of some kind? If not, how do you open the darn thing. I don't see a thumb stud or nail knick and I would not want to grap the blade to open it. Maybe it is designed to be flicked open?

Keith.

here is some info on the "Mystery Knife"...

The knife is 9 3/8" open. Made by George Dailey and engraved by Ray Cover Jr.
with gold, rose gold, and copper. The engraving includes 2 mermaids, a
turtle, an octopus, 2 shipwrecks, 4 sharks, a hammerhead shark, Atlantis, a
sea monster or dragon, and Poseidon, along with some coral and scrollwork.
It is a beautiful, unique piece. The quality of both the knife, and the engraving, is even more evident in person.

It is truly one of a kind !

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and WOWWWWW seem like understatements. Maybe in the afterlife we can all afford to own such a piece.

George Dailey, huh? Betcha the inside's worth taking a look, too! Anybody got a stone count? I can see 24...

If you were to tell me that you had an auto by George Dailey, engraved by Ray Cover Jr., a lot of things would come to mind - all of them spectacular. But you can rest assured that like this one, the actual product would be better than anything imaginable.

Tom,
That knife is incredible! I had the thrill of seeing some of his knives in person at the Florida Art Knife Invitational a few years ago.

Neil

PS If Posiedon PUMPED some iron once in a while, he'd have a build like mine
