Ron Medise, winner of the Simply Survival Trip (along with Andrew "Worm Sandwich" Lynch) asked me to post this pic of his knives from the trip. He will be providing more details shortly, for now he told me:

"I just got back yesterday from my Simply Survival Trip I won on the Rat Forum. It was amazing. I will post detail of trip later today on the Rat Survival Forum. My Satin Finished Outlaw and Camp Tramp sure are two indestructible blades. I beat the crap out of them both and they just keep cutting and cutting. That Busse family can sure make Knives."

Perhaps the word is out! Jennifer is really the one doing all the grinding! Jerry just does the scheduling (:barf: ) and pays the bills!

Can't wait to read Ron's review.

I'm glad to hear they both made it back alive. I was afraid that Andrew might have packed some of those "Worm Sandwiches" for the trip.:barf: Yuck!!!

Personally, I'd rather eat the fish than the bait. . . unless of course we're talkin' about Contender's fishing trips where the bait is bigger than most fish I have caught.;)

I'm anxious to read Ron's and Andrew's reviews, but I hope he leaves out about the worm sandwiches!!:barf::D

The Trip was great, I'am writing my review at this moment. I will say it was fun watching Andrew eat worms. Greg found a handful and made Andrew eat them in front of everyone. Greg at first didnt want to hand over my Satin Outlaw. I just love it.:D Thanks Jerry for sending it up to Greg's place so I was able to take it on my trip. After Davenport saw it, all in taked about was a Satin Finished Badger Attack 3 with a snake skin handle. I would highly recommend Simply Survival to anyone looking for a true adventure and Busse/Swamp Rat to anyone looking for a true survival/combat knife.

Thanks again

Ron M

I brought a generator for my satelite dish, big screen tv, leather recliner/massager, and a refrigerator for all the beer. :D

But Davenport wouldnt let me bring the frig on the trip! :D

Ron,
Glad to hear you made it back safe and sound and had a good time.

Looking forward to full reports on exactly what occured and anxiously awaiting the pics :D:D

Welcome back Ron:D

Can't wait for more pics (especially with Andrew grinning with a big fat crawler hanging out of his mouth:cool:.)

I just got back a few hours ago. What a trip! I'll comment more on it later (yes, there will be pics :D ), but let me suffice to say that it was an extremely well planned and operated adventure, and I learned a lot.

The worms were....errr.....interesting ;)

We all expanded our culinary horizons on that trip, didn't we Ron :D

I glad your back Andrew,

Yes indeed the menu was unique and quite tasty :barf: :D :D

My wife had my Gatorz chicken wings and Pizza Hut Insider pizza waiting for me.
