The best thing about the movie? Carla Gugino. WOW she is hot. The narration dragged on in parts, the violence was over the top, but I really liked it nonetheless. Some interesting swordplay from the death dealer Miho, and some neat knife fighting and axe usage. Over the top, but then that's why it's so good!

Agreed. I was amazed by Carla too, damned impressive body on her. If you hated Pulp Fiction, you'll hate this too. But if you enjoy sitting back to enjoy a wild show without nitpicking it to death, you'll love it.

I haven't seen it yet, but from what I hear it's the most faithful comic to movie translation. Ever.

Maybe a little too faithful, but turned out good nonetheless. Wow, still seeing Carlas....

I saw it yesterday and liked it; would rate it a B.

A lot of blood and action; not much story and a little confusing.

I liked the black and white effect.

Carla Gugino is    , but I liked the little Ninja girl (Miho ?). :D

I wouldn't say you have to run out and see it.

I liked the Kill Bills better.

I would have liked to see "A dame to kill for" instead of "Big fat kill" but other than that I loved the movie. Miho (Devon Aoki) was great.

One other nice thing is that it left room for a sequel or two, since there are still plenty of stories left to tell. No one story hinged on another, each was just a look at on character's tale. I think I'm going to have to go watch it again to let it soak in a little more.

A Dame to Kill For came before Big Fat Kill, but I would like to see Family Values turned into a movie. Maybe all of the one shots could be strung together. I just really wanna see more of Carla :D.

Cool movie. Never read many comic books. This was good even since I never read anything like this. Fun to try aNd pick out all the stars.

And yes:

She's hot.

Wait'll you see Miho in Family Values. (She does all her super-cool swordsmanship on rollerblades...)

The knife is faithful to the books, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure the prop was a chromed Lexan blade mated to a Buckmaster handle.
