Since Hunter Sharp asked so nicely... Feathersticking with an Izula, 2x 11s and a 14

Glad to see that sabre 13 in use. So what was your opinion on what worked best? Thanks for the vie and where do you get your fat wood....

I got a big box from Walmart. I got it on sale (which it no longer is) but it works great.

The Izzie was the sharpest but it seemed to take the biggest bites. Honestly what worked the best for me was not in the video but it was the BK-9.

I really do like that Sabre-11. I particularly like the sheath for it. It just is so simple yet works. And the little kit I've been putting together makes it better. At least to me. :D

Nice video C-bear. Great tunes too.:D

In my experience, the shallower the angle that your knife is sharpened to, the better feather sticks it makes.
It looked like you were pushing into the wood at a pretty steep angle, so that may have something to do with the small cuts.
Although, I can't imagine that there is much possibility for leverage on a short piece of fatwood.

Great demonstration.

I been on a classic rock kick for a while... Can't help it, just something soothing about them.

Thanks for the advice! I will be practicing this afternoon.
