I have an question- since Busse isn't making a folder. (yet?)

My EDC folder got chipped out really bad yesterday. (To be fair I used it as a screwdriver.) Oops.

It was an assisted flipper, and I'm looking for another one...but it doesn't have to be assisted as long as the action is smooth.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

i carry a zt 301, and a spyderco captain. the zt is my prybar and the captain is my razor.

Similarly I have a ZT301 and a Kershaw leek with the half D2 blade. Both are awesome. Can't say enough good about the ZT. And its a very smooth assisted opener.

i agree, the 301 is an animal. it's taken a beating since i got it, and still ask's for more.

I love my Sebenza more than anything. But, you shouldn't buy an expensive folder if you plan to use it as a screwdriver. ZT seem to be the toughest, relatively inexpensive knife though.

If you're going to continue to use your knives as screwdrivers I suggest carrying the cheapest knife you can find. The ZT line isn't cheap AFAIC.

That's why I always carry a good folder and a SAK. ;):)

Me thinks you should get a multitool. Then you can screw and cut, pry, whatever you want.

strider sng

I use it every day for work
good,strong knife.

I prefer the ZT 350. It's a tough liner lock and is less expensive than it's bigger relatives. I get less looks with it than I did with the larger 301 and 302 too.

I carry a Benchmade 890 Torrent.

Not a beater, but a good spring assist EDC

I don't normally do the screwdriver thing, but it was what I had at the time.

My current EDC set me back $75- so the ZT 350 would be about right, but it's a liner lock instead of a framelock.

is there any difference between the 300/ 301/ 302 besides color?

Don't buy a fancy knife. Inevitably you will only have your knife again. And you will destroy your knife ... again.

Buy an SAK Soldier. Tough knife. And it has a screwdriver.
