Since Krein is done who is the best for regrinds?

Krein no longer doing regrinds? Since when? If this is true, it's devastating news. This guy does fantastic work on Spydercos. Yikes. Hope your info is bad, or it's just a temporary situation. Sheesh. This dude can take a Waved Endura and make it HAPPEN.

I'll be watching this thread. These are gonna be some seriously big shoes to fill.

Phil Wilson did a couple ones for me and heat treated too. More convenient too, if you are looking for both, regrind and re-HT.

I haven't heard that Krein has stopped doing regrinds either. And I don't see anything that would indicate that on his forum. I sure hope it's not true.

I too have heard that Tom is not doing any more regrinds.

Very true, I contacted him personally. With that said I sent my CQC-11 to Nick Rossi of Rossi Knives in ME. Here are a few pics. His work looks great and he's super to deal with.

The grind he put on mine is flat zero grind. When I contacted him he said he could do a hollow grind but he preferred a flat grind on the Emerson’s. I seen a pic of a Strider he done and it looked very nice.
