I received a long cardboard tube in the post today, which turned out to be from Duncan (Campbellclanman).
Inside the securely sealed package was a large print of myself and Stan Shaw, taken by Duncan’s good lady, Sue, during our memorable visit to Sheffield’s Kelham Island Industrial Museum (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1106897-Interrupting-Stan-Shaw’s-Marmalade-Sandwich)

There were also some of the lovely old Sheffield cutlery labels, which Duncan recently posted about (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1120890-Sheffield-knife-labels-check-these-out!!). These I think are absolutely amazing.

Duncan very kindly included a knife, made by the Sheffield cutlers Bowman & Pike. A piece of memorabilia, and perhaps something to spread some marmalade with (‘By Royal Appointment’ of course!)

And then there are these two Lilliputian beauties, tiny and crafted with such care, each featuring an ear-spoon. Aren’t they incredible? The light is fading here, and I’m really sorry these shots atop my kitchen table really don’t do them justice.
By the way, that old penny, taken from my pocket and included for scale (it’s the same size as a US Half Dollar) has so far gone from me to Duncan and back again. So far...
Duncan, once again, thanks for your kindness and generosity. You’re a great friend.
