Khukuri FAQ

Uncle Bill , I am six foot three and 265 lbs. If you think that the 2XL is big enough for me then I'll take one , if not how about a Jola .

Edd, I don't think the shirt will work for you. You might be able to rip it apart and sew some panels in but that's about your only chance I'm afraid. I am 5'11" and 185 and I'll take a xxl.

We will sign you up for a jola instead.

Uncle Bill, I am about your height, and 240 pounds, 46 inch chest. Do you figure I can fit into an XXL without ripping it?

Harry

Harry I doubt it but I will test fit one of the double x when they get here. We will know more then.

This will certainly be a treat! Uncle Bill sashaying down the runway, modelling the latest in Khukuri Knut Knitware. He will also be wearing two of the latest HI khukuri models at the waist.

Here I was just frantically reading all of the posts and doing a rather poor job of adding up everyone else's orders to figure out if I was on to late and missed out on the order....When lo and behold all I had to do was actually READ Uncle Bill's post completely and find out that he had already taken care of me (and the other pre-posters). Thank you Uncle and I will soon be figuring out that PayPal thing-a-ma-do-hicky and will be able to complete my purchase by next Thursday (Paydays come much to far apart I believe).

You want me to give him a fair fight? Hah! If you ain't cheatin' then you ain't tryin'

Uncle Bill --- What do you guess sizes are compaired to a large 42-44 and xtra large 44-46 ?

Hi Bill, can I peddle some of these LEO shirts and caps that agencies insist on giving me?

Not here, FNG. This place is too busy as it is! Try the classified ad section and see what happens.

And everybody is covered so far. If the 20 shirts make it thru the maze, that is.

Uncle Bill,

Just catching up on the Forum after several days, nearly missed this thread! The Singapore Gurkha Police shirt looks great. If there is one left over, could you please sign me up for it? I wear US size 42 shirts, so I guess ideal size would be XL. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Also for those forumites looking for a khukuri motif T-shirt, some time back I got this great 7th Gurkha Rifles T-shirt from a US company which sells shirts with military insignia - mostly British Regiments. Just checked their site and they still seem to be selling them: http://www.netbridge.net/~symbols/symbols.html
If this link doesn't work, just go to altavista.com and type in "7th Duke of Edinburgh's Own Gurkha Rifles" in the search window and search the handful of links that show up - this company should be there.
