Single Bevel Grinds: Is Emerson still making them?

It seem that most of the recently made custom Emersons that I have handled have double bevel grinds. Does he still still grind single bevel blades?

I spoke to Les Robertson recently and he had a CQC7, new, which did not have the secondary bevel. The knife was quickly sold.

Just a question. How are any of you maintaining your single bevel grind edges? I mean how are you sharpining them? I have an RJ Martin KOZUKA that no matter how careful I am when sharpining it always gets scratched up if I try to maintain the original bevel. Also to truly do this are you not removing metal from the entire surface of this bevel? I feel on a custom EMERSON this would be a big mistake and would seriously devalue the knife?
