Wonderful materials. That is one of the nicest art folders (make that folders, period) that I have ever seen.

Ya know, I stared at this knife for about five minutes wondering what in the world makes it so damn appealing. I give up. :D

I think there is something about the combination of traditional natural materials and curves along with modern metals and machining lines that conspire to lure me in.

I think I'll look at it some more.... :p

(Congrats to all!)

I know what gets me... It is the fluting on the bolsters. It takes the intricate damascus pattern on the bolters and really excentuates it. Add that to the Eggerling Paisley and the crossing patterns make it really striking.

Larry, that is one beautiful knife....... You going to make any more like it???? ????;)

I plan to make a few more Bob. Gotta get a small bank loan so I can buy some more of that Beautiful Bark Elephant Ivory.
I'm just finishing a 4" D/A Fastwind with similar damascus, but sporting Goldlip Pearl scales. Pretty striking piece also.
