The overall length is 14.7/8" and it weighs 19.5oz.
The 1095 blade is 9.3/16" X 1.3/8" X 1/4" thick.
The guard, bolster, and pommel sides are 1018
WELDED to the full tang ( don't know how it could
be stronger).
The handle is 4.7/8" w/ scales of curly maple.
No sheath yet. I'll make one (left or right handed)
once it has a new home to go to.

Thanks for looking,
Mike

Thank you.
I was going to offer this one with a choice
of right or left handed sheath. But I think
I'll just make a right handed one so I can go
ahead and get the pictures ready for the
for sale section. I don't like to list a knife
without showing the sheath.

I really like your knife designs. They look like they would hold up very well to extreme use. I do have a question on the knives you have posted on the forum. I noticed that the guards do not sit flush with the top of your handles. Is there a reason for this?? Just curious.

When I do a double guard on a full tang knife, the guard and blade are one piece. The side pieces that make up the bolsters and edges of the guard
are also on piece. The line or groove separating the bolster and guards edge
is ground halfway through just for a distinct visual separation.
The height of the guard or the edges of it is more a matter of looks than
function.
I like the edges of the guard to rise slightly above the top of the bolsters
mostly to aid me in aligning the two sides perfectly for welding them to
the blade ;)
Hope this answered the question,
Mike
