Lagavulin 16 Years Isley Single Malt Scotch Whisky

I LOVE THIS STUFF. Smokey and smooth baby...

Anyody find it cheaper than 90 bucks a bottle?

oh yeah.... I need more because.... I drank it up tonight!

Overhere (Netherlands) it'll cost ya, 47 euro (approx. 62USD)

The 12yo Cask strength is 65 euro (85USD).

Luckily for us there is in fact a "fuel" that's actually cheaper overhere than in the US.:D (Can't be said about petrol/gas:grumpy:)

When I get my act together, moving out of CA is one of my goals. But you guys scare me when you post alcohol prices :p .

This is a bit blasphemous, but when I saw the word "malt" in the title header, I had a flashback to senior year of high school sharing 40's of Steel Reserve with my buddy's.:barf: LOL

I've generally been able to find Lagavulin 16yo for around $65.00. If you like Lagavulin you ought to try Ardbeg, another big, peaty, smoky Islay scotch.

I got a bottle for ~$60 at Sam's Club.

yep - Talisker is the poor man's Lagavulin. It's only about $60 here in my neck of the woods, and just as tasty. Nice and smokey  Try it, you'll like it!

One word...TALISKER

Talisker is good and it is the most valuable thing that I have learned from any of your posts. :p

But if you can find it, try Tomintoul, I think it is just a little better for a little less money, and Oban still kicks butt too, but Oban must have been "discovered" because it seems to have jumped $15 in price over the last 9 months.

My girlfriend gave me some Lagavlin 16 as a gift and for $70 it is a deal, even at $100 it would be worth every cent!!!

And in my opinion any of these I mentioned here are far better than JW Gold. For my pallet, I was disappointed in that one.

You must think JW Black is swill then. That is my new favorite affordable scotch.
