I'm talking about blades sharpened on one ege only, but that the sharpened edge is sharpened from one side, or both sides. Make sense?

I notice my Military is sharpened "one sided," so that the back side is completely flat. My Microtech is sharpened like most blades I've seen...from both the front and the back of the blade.

Are all Spydercos sharpened like this? Is there an advantage to either method

Almost all serrated knives that I've seen are sharpened on one side. Ernst Emerson was the first that I'm familar with to sharpen a plain edge on only one side (chisel edge) on the CQC7 (I think it was.) I think that all plain Spydies are sharpened on both sides. Hope this helps...

Spyderco (as do most others) sharpen serrations on one side only. Plain edge Spydercos are sharpened normally, on both sides. Combo edge Spydercos vary, if the plain edge portion is very short as in the Lightweight Native, it is sharpened on one side only, If the plain edge is 50% (More or less) the plain edge portion is sharpened on both sides.
