Hot out the forge is one mean chopper! The blade has a lot of weight out front for some serious power. The swedge grind on the top edge is not quite sharp but would work great for splitting wood....or bone! 
The handle is black canvas micarta, but it has kind of a greenish hue. The blade has a textured forge finish hand rubbed to 320 and then scotch brite finished. I also tried a different "quick draw" sheath on this one. Let me know what you think.
