I want to share a sword I purchased recently from "Jkoo Sword" a sword manufacturer in China.
It seems very nice for what it cost, which was about $310 including shipping. It isn't perfect, but it features a forged T10 steel blade with a clay tempered hamon along both edges. It seems some of the fittings may be glued on, but they accent the blade, hilt, and sheath very nicely. It is very sharp. I haven't done much cutting, as I don't have as much practice with double edged blades, and I haven't really taken the time to set up some good tests, but it seems like it would function very well.
It took about 6 weeks from the time I ordered it to the day I received it. They didn't have any finished ones on hand, so they forged and fitted the sword, and then shipped it to me during that time.
The blade is about 30 inches long, 29 inches from tip to the top of the blade collar, the hilt is a little over 10 inches long. The balance is 4 inches in front of the collar, 5 inches from the top of the guard.
