I'm looking in to bronze bushings.
I know a lot of people like aluminum bronze bushings (slipjoints)
I come across a lot of of sintered bronce bushings in Germany.
Aparantly they are porious and can hold a lot of oil that way.
What do you guys think of that?

No experience here, what are they used for in industry?
The only experience I have with sintered metal is with frangible bullets, so I kind of wonder if the bushings would hold up under the expansion while peining...

I found them while looking in to Aluminumbronce. Hardly any of that used over here, mostly sintered bronce bushings.
From what I inderstand they can hold a lot of oil and stay lubed a long time.
You concern is one of my concers as well.
I might just give it a try to see.

How will phosfor bronce or normal Sn-bronce hold us used as bushings. Is aluminum bronce noticably better?
