My donation piece this year for Knife Right's Ultimate Steel fundraiser:

13.5" blade forged from 80CrV2, marine epoxy-impregnated black-over-tan paracord handle wrap, black Kydex sheath.

I'd rather sweat and feed mosquitos in my shop than wrestle with lawyers and politicians. Thanks, guys!

Appreciate your continued generous support, James! And, just for the record, as most here are likely aware, it's Winner's Choice, and this beauty was selected by a winner way ahead of some more valuable prizes. That's always a mark of a great donation! If anyone reading this would like to donate a cool blade in next year's Ultimate Steel fundraiser, we're already accepting donations and pledges, just drop me an email or PM. We could not accomplish all we have without your generous support!

Thanks, guys!

Doug, I appreciate all that y'all do. Donating a blade a year to help fund y'all's efforts is the least I can do. Y'all've done some great work in Texas this year, working with some local groups to get important legislation protecting the bladed half of the Second Amendment passed through.

For anyone in Texas, there is going to be a Bring Your Own Bowie event at the Alamo on Saturday, September 2, the day after the new laws go into effect. I won't get the go because I'll be at the USN Gathering show in Las Vegas, but there will be plenty of local makers representing. Including some of my fellow Texan Forged in Fire champions. :)

Great job and thank you for your donation....just glad it wasn't that fatty Tanto you're making for me!

I was off at the USN Gathering knife show the day of the Bring Your Own Bowie at the Alamo, but Knife Rights ended up postponing the event due to Hurricane Harvey anyway. Some local knife makers and enthusiasts came anyway.
