Dennis,
I have the Audiovox sir-pnp2 tuner, while stiil available they have been replaced by the sir-pnp3 tuner.
It looks to have the exact same layout of knobs and buttons,so I assume it has the same great user interface. They are both $ 90-100.
You will need docking units,$45+/-,for each place you want to use it,home units for your home or office, mobile units for your cars and trucks.I have three and I can take the tuner out of or put it into any of them quicker than I can type the word portable.
Each dock has its own antenna, power supply, wiring, all you do is move the tuner.
These are just tuners, you must provide the speakers, stereo receiver, car radio, which you probably already have.
The home docks have RCA plugs that plug right into any empty spot on your receiver,VCR,CD,etc.,the mobile docks have RCA plugs plus a built in FM transmitter that lets you play it on an empty band if you don't want to hardwire it.
These are available locally at Best Buy,Curcuit City,Office Depot and elsewhere.
They are also available at Amazon dot com With good discriptions, user reviews and such but I can't cut and paste URL's and that one was a bear. You can do a search there for the model numbers, they have both
