Sirupati vs. Chitlangi

I recently got a 19" Chitlangi, and it is a beauty. It chops better than a smaller 17" Sirupati or a Chainpuri that is close in size to it. The Chainpuri blade is actually a little longer than the Chitlangi blade.
What about a 21" Chitlangi versus the 20" Sirupati? How would they compare in feel and in chopping?
I assume that they would be better choppers than a smaller Chitlangi, but I wonder about this, and whether it would make much of a difference.
Some of you have these knives, and can answer the question.
The Hi website describes the Sirupati as a better chopper, but this assumes identical size and weight.

Arty I have a 21"+ Chitlangi and from the git-go have said it cuts like a much heavier khukuri.
Without having a 20" Sirupati I can't say for certain but I would bet the Chitlangi will out chop the Sirupati.:D

My younger brother Finn here explained it all once sometime ago but I wouldn't know how too find his post.
It had something too do with the lighter weight creating more speed so in essence the greater speed outweighed the greater mass of the heavier khukuri.

Energy increases with the square of speed, vs. only a linear increase in energy as mass increases. So long as it dunna break, the faster blade should, in theory, deliver more energy in the blow.

But I think it's really Chitlangi Magic.

I think the Chit would chop better. Mine has a wider blade and more forward weight bias. It bites really deep when I chop with it. My Sirupatis are more neutral, better for cutting springy vines and vegetation.

I have a couple of 21" Chit and one 20" Sirupati. So I can't compare anything about the 18" size but both Chits out chop the Sirupati by a wide margin. I am not sure about the different weights but could check if you wanted.

Thanks for the info. I'd be interested in knowing if the Chitlangis are heavier then the Sirupati.
The sizes are similar, and I would guess that the blade lengths are also. If the Chits cut better, it could be because the improved balance helps....but I don't know.
Broken Arrow's post (on the Hi web site) seemed to suggest that the forward balance of the Sirupati helped them chop.

My chits felt more powerful than sirupatis. (I've never met a sirupati I really liked, so far.)
