Sirus blade question

I am wondering why the Sirus and only one of the Tempests has a combo edge blade. I would like to get a Sirus, but I really want a combo blade. I would get the Tempest but I am not a big fan of the skeleton frame knves.

Anyone have a Sirus that could comment on it?

Sorry for the late reply to your post. The question of serrated blade VS plain edge does not have an easy answer. We know that we cant make every model we do in both serrated and plain, this building would not be able to hold all of them.
We try to do as much customer research as we can to please as many folks as we can. It is still possible that you might see the combo you like show up in a Buck catalogue someday. If enough people want something, we try to accomodate.

I don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but the original question got me to wondering something. Could a request like this be something that the Buck Custom Shop could do? Of course this would assume that Custom Shop was back in operation. I guess it could also add a substantial price increase to the standard model cost which might make the job unrealistic for the buyer.

I'm just trying to get an idea of what the Custom Shop is all about.
