Site overhaul

Is it just me thinking this site could use a massive overhaul? Don't know how everyone else uses the forum but I do it from my phone. Its always pretty slow. Posting is weird, sometimes you have to click "post" a couple times to get it to actually work but then you run the risk of the double, triple, quadruple post that seem to really plague the sale threads. I frequent a few forums and this ones seems the worst which sucks because I like the topic the best. Also posting pics is a pain and I still haven't figured it out. Even with image apps and copying the url it just shows up as a link instead of the photo. I know if you up your membership you can supposedly post photos directly to the threads but I have a hard time paying $30 for a site that is so slow and laggy. It just seems compared to other forums this one is really behind the curve. I know nobody really likes change but I think blade forums could use it.. maybe I'm alone in this thought.

God even making this thread i click create thread and the loading bars pop up and cycle and cycle and cycle and then just go away like nothing....so I click create thread again thinking it didn't work and same thing same, loading bars pop up and go away after a minute. But nothing happens. Back out and check to make sure I didn't accidentally create 2 threads and nothing has worked at all so I go back in and do it a 3rd time..then a 4th and it finally shows up.

Yes, the lag at certain is annoying.

As far as posting iimages, there are numerous tutorials. If yours aren't showing, you probably used the wrong link or missed a step.

* The issues have been acknowledged, and the admin has stated he's trying to get them sorted out. There's some server maintenance happening tonight...hopefully we'll see some meaningful improvements

I agree with all of the above. I firmly disagree with the duration of which this issue has plagued us all.

I can’t believe I paid for this. This site is a technological joke. Slow speeds, non intuitive and absolutely awful from a mobile device. This is one case the baby should be thrown out with the bath water. I’d rather pay more for something that actually works.

Lol this is actually what I did. After hitting create the second time I copied it and refreshed the page. Wasn't there. Didnt work til the 4th time. Funny you mention my patience level as the issue when the page just stops loading and nothing happens...I can let my phone sit for 5 or 10 minutes and nothing happens.. how patient do i need to be? Even still your acknowledging my point. Is that something every member needs to do when posting? Even paying members? Just copy your post and refresh and see if it worked....and its not just creating threads that's slow and laggy and seemingly not working its also just replying on them as well.

Just a comment since the header is still showing maintence ongoing.

I have my view set to FA+Dark. When I hit the reply button the screen flips from this to (BETA) and the flips back to Dark. This takes a few seconds as it happens.

I can try to grab a screenshot if needed.

That's interesting. My view is set to FA(BETA) and when I touch the reply field to bring up the keyboard, it goes black. I can't see what I'm typing because the letters are black on black.
