The movers came yesterday and picked up our stuff. All we have are the bare essentials we will need upon arrival in our new quarters. Living in an echoing house is a little weird. Not to mention sleeping on the floor on an air mattress. :grumpy:

Since I finished my tour as a Drill Sergeant I have been assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas with 1st Armor Division. The wife and I will be on the road come Tuesday headed back home to Texas:D :D :thumbup: . We are excited about moving back to Texas! Hopefully this will be my last move before retirement. We are retiring from the Army and settling in Texas so that would help a great deal.

Oh yeah here's some gratuitous INFI!! :) :cool:

Now that you mention it, the wife asked me yesterday if we could go to Blade this year. The only conflict I can see is possibly my job. If there are no work conflicts than we will be there. What sucks is that we will have to fly there and rent a car instead of take a short drive.

I have a lockable footlocker type container for the INFI and the
firearms that is going with me in the truck, and will go with us in the hotel when we stop for the night.


Off to help the wife do some pack some more stuff ..
 
Just make sure you don't bring OSUT to your new platoon in Texas. ;) Thank you for doing what is often a thankless job. A DS at Benning is one of the most important people in the Army.
 
Welcome back home! West Texas is a great place to relax and watch the tumbleweeds roll into the glorious sun sets. I love it out there in the desert!:thumbup: :thumbup: NICE Infi, btw.
